SAMBA and Office Professional '97 Install

Hi,

	Running Samba v1.9.18p10-2 from Debian under Linux 2.1.126 SMP 
I've been having problems installing office professional '97 using the administrative 
option. When installing certain files, the installer complains that it can't f
ind the file which it has written. I've tried installing to a local drive,
however similar problems occur.

Followed the instructions in the file 'Application_Serving.txt'. With
share modes, and locking both on and off..

Any ideas?
