HP-UX 9.05: stropts.h: No such file or directory

I just tried to build samba-1.9.18p7 (using gcc ver-2.7.2.1) on a
HP 9000/700 running HP-UX ver. 9.05, and I got this error message:

I suspect stropts.h to be part of STREAMS.

I suppose this means that I have to buy STREAMS for HP-UX (or upgrade
to HP-UX 10.x) in order to build the HP-UX binaries myself ?
