Win98 uses encrypted passwords, Win95 doesn't. You may either - enable plain passwords for your Win98 box (there's a *.REG for NT, I've been told it works for Win98 too) or - enable encrypted passwords for your samba box (see ENCRYPTION.txt). good luck, Ludolf
