Failed to set socket option TCP_NODELAY

Hi,

Under Linux-2.0.33 Samba seems to be unable to set the socket option
TCP_NODELAY.
Since i have read several times that this option may greatly improve
performance, i would like to know how to get this option working.

I am using Samba version 1.9.18p3.

Here is an excerpt from the samba log file:

Got SIGHUP
Got SIGHUP
Failed to set socket option SO_KEEPALIVE
Failed to set socket option TCP_NODELAY
Got SIGHUP
Got SIGHUP


Can anyone help?
