YES!
I finally got it compiled! Now the other errors start coming!
When I type "nmblookup" with 'it-doesn't-mather-what' I've got the following error:
(I've tried my system-name -scosysv2- and stuff, but NOTHING...)
Get_Hostbyname: Unknown host scosysv2.
Unable to open socket to get broadcast address
Added interface ip=0.0.0.0 bcast=0.0.0.0 nmask=255.0.0.0
Get_Hostbyname: Unknown host scosysv2.
Get_Hostbyname: Unknown host.
And this is what I find in the var/log.smb - file
Incorrect program usage - are you sure the command line is correct?
Get_Hostbyname: Unknown host scosysv2.
Global parameter interfaces found in service section!
Get_Hostbyname: Unknown host scosysv2.
Unable to open socket to get broadcast address
Added interface ip=98.0.109.97 bcast=4.2.0.0 mask=255.0.0.0
standard input is not a socket, assuming -D option
Get_Hostbyname: Unknown host. scosysv2
So, what's in your smb.conf - file? Well: not that much:
workgroup=MTB
[homes]
guest ok = no
read only = no
--> That's what I've found in the Smb-book....
So: what's my problem? Maybe somebody can just send me an smb.conf - file... (hint!)
