DOS -> Unix file extensions

Hi everyone,

I have just one simple question. Is there a way to convert DOS to Unix file
extensions? I know there is a way back, for example:

   mangled map = (*.html *.htm)

would show me all *.html files under Unix as *.htm files. But I would like
to do it the other way: when I would save a *.htm file, it would appear as
*.html under Unix. Can I do that?
