Problem compiling 1.9.18p3 under Solaris 2.5 (DMA error)

Personally, this sounds like the problem of neither Samba or
GCC.. If your Solaris kernel is panic'ing, that sounds to me
like you've got a physical memory problem on your Solaris box
that perhaps gcc is just tickling.. Have you seen any other
wierd problems on your box? We ran Samba 1.9.18p1 on a Solaris
2.5.1 box without any compilation problems -- and are currently
running Samba 1.9.18p3 on Solaris 2.6 without any problems...

Subject: Problem compiling 1.9.18p3 under Solaris 2.5 (DMA error)

Solaris 2.5
Samba 1.9.18p3
gcc 2.7.2.1

During the make operation several .c files compile succesfully
until it reaches the trans2.c file.

This file during compilation causes a 'Panic: Memory Error',
followed by 'Unrecoverable DMA error' and an automatic
system reboot.

Has anyone seen this before? Does it sound like a gcc problem
or a samba one?

Thanks in advance!

Mike
