'max connections' doesn't solve this problem.  The 'max connections'
parameter is actually not very useful-- it limits the number of
simultaneous connections from the _same_ client.  Its a frequently
misunderstoond option. 

In fact, as was pointed out, there is no simple way to solve this problem
in Samba as it currently exists.
