Problems with logging

1.9.18p3 Samba Installed...

According to the docs, it I set a log level = 1, I should see in the
log.smb file connection information as users connect to shares..

I don't see anything at all when a user connects with say a Win95 box
to map a network drive.

Is there another setting that I am missing??
