Connection from WIN95 succeeds and from NT fails - why ?

Are you using NT 4.0 and upgraded to Service Pack 3?

If yes, there might have a problem. Try to add do this in your 
registry:

Run the regedt32.
At the HkeyLocalMachine,  Go to 

           System/CurrrentControlSet/Services/Rdr/Parameters.

At Edit Menu, Choose Add Value.

On the Box, type "EnablePlainTextPassword" at the Text field.
Choose REG_DWORD as type.
Enter 1 as value.

Save and Exit the Registry Editor.

Restart.
