I'm trying to connect from my OpenLinux 1.1 box (recompiled kernel, I'm on
2.0.35 now, IPX compiled in the kernel) to my NT 4.0 server, via Samba. I
can connect okay with smbclient, but I can't connect with smbmount at all.
I'm using smbfs-2.0.1 ..

Here's a successful smbclient connection:

# smbclient '\\web\test' -I colubs.com -U tedt
Added interface ip=204.119.28.16 bcast=204.119.28.255 nmask=255.255.255.0
Server time is Fri Jul 17 11:02:53 1998
Timezone is UTC-7.0
Password: [I entered my password here]
Domain=[CUDOMAIN] OS=[Windows NT 4.0] Server=[NT LAN Manager 4.0]
smb: \> ls
  . DA 0 Fri Jul 17 08:46:56 1998
  .. DA 0 Fri Jul 17 08:46:56 1998

49449 blocks of size 65536. 36109 blocks available

and here's one example of a failed smbmount connection. I always get the
same error.

[root at holly samba-1.9.18p8]# smbmount //web/test /mnt/ntweb -I colubs.com
-U tedt
Password: [I entered my password here]
mount error: No such device
Please look at smbmount's manual page for possible reasons

Can anyone help?
