Win311 Q: login & Windows EXIT

I can't remember exactly what it's called, but turn off the "use DNS" option for
locating NetBIOS names. You may have to use an LMHOSTS file for testing with if
you are depending on DNS for lookups. If the problem goes away, you have an old
version of WFWT32.EXE - go get the latest one you can find. There was an
off-by-one bug in at least the first two "production" versions that bombed you
straight out to DOS (and sometimes locked your computer as well) when DNS
lookups were attempted.
