Mixed preserve case?

Hi all.  I have 'preserve case = yes' set in my smb.conf.  It appears that
some filenames are preserved, yet others are not.  I cannot find any
pattern as to why this is happening.  Its currently set in the specific
share that I'm working with...

Do I have something configured wrong?  This is 1.9.18 on linux 2.0.33, but
I've never had this problem before.  Could it be a windows configuration
problem?

We were using the IE desktop crap if that has anything to do with it...
