Browsing along side NT

No you have a problem. One of the machines shouldn't
be able to become browse master as it shoud lose the
elections.

Try cranking up the nmbd debug level and looking at
the election packets. You should see the NT box
participate in the election and lose. If it doesn't
participate then for some reason the boxes are not
seeing each others election broadcasts.
