case on file creation

I am unable to get a file created from a pc stored through samba to store as
the case it was created. For instance, if I create Uppercase.txt, the file
is stoed on the Unix system as uppercase.txt.

I have both preserve case and short preserve case set to yes. NOW when I change
case sensitive from no to yes, then it store correctly but I have file
retrieval problems based on case.

So How do I store it the way it was created but retrive it regardless of case?

Have I found a bug?
