Windows 98

Has there been a fix for the problem of Windows 98 loggin into a samba
server? My password is continually denied. The log has the following error:


<date> error packet at line 588 cmd=115 (SMBsesssetupX) eclass=2 ecode=2
error string = Bad file number
end of file from client
Closing connections


Any help would be greatly appreciated!
