Win95 crashed

Dear all,

it was an odd thing to see how a Win95 box crashed when loging in as
$USER1 and not as $USER2 while using the "Network Neighborhood" to
access some UNIX shares from the PC side.

As $USER1 the system crashes and gives the following output message:

    "WINDOWS

A fatal exeption 0D has ocurred at 17DA:C101BACC. The current
application will be terminated

    ... "

The systems prompts you to press any key to reboot but it hangs instead.

But if I log in as $USER2 everything works quite fine.

Any idea about what could have happened?

TIA and best regards,

M at rtin
