Printer errors

I assume you're using an HP DeskJet 500?  Yes, I have one running on my
Linux box (RedHat 4.2, kernel 2.0.30).  I have other problems but I have
been able to get it to print.  Make sure the permissions on the spool
directory are rwxrwxrwt (1777).
