Newbie: Setting Up Samba from Ground 0

Get a copy of the source. When totally newbie, I would prefer (today) getting 
1.9.18p10. Unpack it, read docs/UNIX_INSTALL.txt. At the point where it wants you 
to edit a smb.conf, do 'man smb.conf'.
