NT and Solaris

Sorry to place another message so fast.  I found my other problem, it's a
DNS issue, appears this one is related, but I am at a total loss.

If I connect using xyvision it fails, if I connect using the fully qualified
host name, it works fine.  I've checked my DNS tables, lmhosts and hosts
files.  They are all correct.  The lmhosts file is empty and the hosts file
has both the alias and the fully qualified host name in it.

The server has the alias at boot time and the FQHN and alias in the hosts
file.

Any ideas?
