For everyone having win98 headaches due toi the plain text vs encrypted
password logins, edit your smb.conf file to accept encrypted passwords,
this involves uncommenting the command from the congif file. look for 
encryptedpasswords=yes or something to that effect. Then you can take
advantage of the password encryption over the network.
