NT4 workstation with sp3

Hi Samba gurus,
              Iam new user working on samba,Can you tell me how do i
eliminate the problem logging on to samba from Nt4.0 workststion with sp3. I
tried modifying registry, But i dont know where iam doing mistake. Can
anybody able to explain me properly how can i solve this problem.
