FW: Password Encryption Problem - SAMBA on VMS

		Some help please ?
		


		The above error is returned to an NT 4.0 Workstation from a
VMS box running the following software:-

		NT Box
		NT 4.0 Workstation
		SP3
		Password Encryption turned on

		VMS Box
		VMS v5.5-2
		UCX v

		When the EnablePlainTextPassword = 1 the logon works fine.
When set to 0 the above box is displayed.

		Have recompiled the SAMBA exe's with the new DES libraries.
They restart with no errors, but lookup seems to be failing somewhere !

		Can you help ??
