FYI: I had this problem sometime ago and recently found the solution. With the dfs 4.1(?) win95 client the EnablePlainTextPasswords defaults to 0 To fix.... REGEDIT4 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\VxD\VNETSUP] EnablePlainTextPasswords"=dword:00000001 michael at ecel.uwa.edu.au
