password server en [homes] section

hi
i use samba 1.9.18p4 on solaris 2.5.1  my clients are NT 4.0 SP3

I finally success to use samba with authentification on NT server PDC
on a [dir] section it's ok
but on [homes] section i always some validation/authentification problems 

do i have to configure  smbpasswd file or not 
i don't want to deactivate PlainTextPassword in registry

here my smb.conf file

[global]
  security = server
  password server = [our PDC ]
  encrypt passwords = yes

[homes]
   revalidate = true
   valid users  = %S
   comment = Home Directories de %S
   browseable = no
   read only = no
   public = no
   create mode = 0750
