Dissapearing Samba Servers

Hi

I also had this problem - but this problem also accurs when using ONLY
win95 clients on a network. (Actually a friend of mine connected TWO Pc's
with an ethernet - and it took 10-20 minutes or so from starting the
second pc until both pc's could see each other when browsing the net...)
I solved this problem when using samba by adding

preferred master = yes
local master = yes
domain master = yes (no - i'm NOT using domain-controlling)
os level = 255
wins support = yes

to my smb.conf, and by adding the samba-server as the primary wins-server
to all my clients.
