Using UNIX account to log on

Hi there,

I am new to SAMBA and at the moment I have problems with log on to my SAMBA
server with my UNIX account!
Log on with "passwd server = NT-domain-controller" works but I want to use
the unix accounts to log on. With the entry
"security = user" I always get errors like
(Couldn't set gid 60001 currently set to (0,0)
Looks like your OS doesn't like high gid values - try using a different
account
Can't become connected user!) in the ../var/log.smb file..

Are there any hints on making it working?
