Access rights

After installing WIndows NT4 Service Pack 3, connection to the [homes]
service prompts for "Connect as" and "Password".

   comment = Home Directories
   browseable = no
   guest ok = no
   hosts allow = mocwel001,mocwel003,mocwel004,\
                 mocwel020,mocwel007,mocwel005,mocwel013
   read only = no
   create mode = 0750

To rectify this, I have to use public = yes.

This also happens to a regular service name. "valid users" is no longer
being looked at. Samba will always deny the connection.
