Samba server sometimes disappear from network neighborhood

You might want to try not using an alhpa test release of samba, try
getting release 1.9.17p2 from ftp://samba.anu.edu.au/pub/samba or from
one of the mirror sites listed at http://samba.anu.edu.au/samba
