Hi,

when trying to log in to the same Samba server with the same user ID and
from two different workstations I got these messages in nmbd's
log file:

Name registration for name EPARIS(3) at 130.151.17.216 - found
response for EPARIS(3) from 130.151.17.156 (bcast=No)
Name query Added netbios name EPARIS(3) at 130.151.17.156 ttl=14400
nb_flags=60 to interface WINS
response for EPARIS(3) from 127.0.0.1 (bcast=No)
Name query wierd name query problem detected!
Removing dead netbios entry for 130.151.17.156 EPARIS(3) (num_msgs=2)
Added netbios name EPARIS(3) at 130.151.17.216 ttl=14400 nb_flags=60
to interface WINS
unknown netbios response (received late or from nmblookup?)

Does anyone know what these "Name query wierd name query problem detected"
and "unknown netbios response" messages mean?

How does Samba handle this case of the same person loging in to the same
server from different stations?

Thanks in advance for any comments.

E.-
