security = server probs?

Has anyone else had problems with security = server in version
17p4? The one that's coming up here is that people will log in to a
Win95/NT PC, get in with a particular password, but when attempting to
reconnect to shares, occasionally the password server (according to samba)
rejects the password (Event Viewer on the NT server in question says bad
username/password...even though this is the same server that the PC itself
validates from).
This doesn't happen all the time, but it does happen enough that
some of my users are getting accidentally locked out...
