I had MANY problems with WINS when some of the computers on my
network had been using the "Novell Client 32" with support for NDS.
In my opinion this is a very buggy piece of software, and with its
special low-level network drivers it prevented some machines from
using MS-Networking at all.
When I told the users to uninstall the Client32, all problems went
away.
