Volume File Transfer in SAMBA

Hi All!

I have a customer who has a NT4.0 client and the
development work that they are doing requires that
a script  transfer approximately 1500 in a stream
between UNIX and the PC.  It seems that their
application errors out at approximately 60 to
80 files.

Are there any parameters that I can modify in
SAMBA and what might be the recommended values
for file transfers of this size and larger?
