No Ox1d name type in interpret_node_status()

I have a Unisys mc running Unix, and a dozen or so Win95 PC's.
The Unix box does not show on Network Neighbourhood.

Samba passes all diagnostics tests, yet doesn't show on network neighbourhood.

I know that TCP/IP works on both PC & Unix box. (ping & telnet & ftp)

I have tried setting browseable = yes
in the [Global] section of smb.conf but it makes no difference.

The only clue I have is the file log.nmb which states (many many times!) that:

   No Ox1d name type in interpret_node_status()

Any help appreciated.
