Capitalisation Bug In Samba

I'm running CIFS 1.1 eco 6 on IA64 VMS 8.3-1H1.

If I create a directory and then attempt to change the case of one of the
letters, nothing happens. I have to add a letter, then remove it modifying
the case at the same time.

Could this be added as a bug for the next release?
