Error in the compilation of Samba 2.2.8

The older SAMBA version 1.19... from the Freeware disk works well on all
versions of VMS from VAX 5.5.  In fact the executable if linked on 6.1 is
upwards compatible.  It does not support encryption of passwords, but the
distribution has the necessary registry changes.

There is no need to recompile, just use the object libraries supplied with
the distribution.
