Packet analysis: WinXP vs. Linux<->VMS shows dramatic d iffer ences

In addition, I have tested just now a COPY of a 179,000 Kb file from my XP
station, and the results are :

To A Linux/Samba server : 49.6 seconds
To a VMS/Samba server : 44.4 seconds

So where is the slow behaviour with files bigger than 64,000 Kb ?
