Another fix for Samba/VMS 2.2.8

As you know, there are dozens of utilities, tools, products, and stuff that
can be used on a Windows or Linux workstation in conjunction with Samba/VMS,
so I can hardly try them all in a lifetime...

Anyway, after your mail, I downloaded this OpenOffice thing, and I am happy
to tell you that, as far as I can tell, it works nicely with the latest
Samba/VMS version. No more "repairing" that I could encounter.

So please test yourself, and tell me if you run into any problem.

Is one of these "some other products" OpenOffice? I experienced problems in
the
version before your last fix, but didn't try the recent fix yet.

FWIW: OpenOffice reports a corrupt file when the file is opened the next
time
after modifying an OpenOffice document, and ask if it should "repair" the
file.
If you answer "yes", the file seems to have the old contents, but not the
last
saved version :-(

Can anybody confirm this?

Anyhow, I'll test this new version and report, if the problem persists.

Thanks for all your work!

Albrecht
