Samba/VMS Version 2.2.4

Hi.

For those of you that are interested, there is a new distribution available
for Samba/VMS 2.2.4

This kit can be downloaded in HTTP or anonymous FTP at
www.pi-net.dyndns.org/anonymous/jyc/
The kit is now separated in 2 files, one containing the sources, and the
other the object and object library files. You now can (and must) link the
EXE files on site even if you have no DECC compiler available (or if your
DECC compiler is out of date). The web page gives instruction about
installing Samba.

This kit fixes a number of problems that were encountered, such as :
- SWAT gived full access to the SMB.CONF file to everybody
- the SMB.CONF file had to be in "stream" format. It did not work with a
standard VMS "variable record" format.
- various fixes in the lock management and protections of the .TDB files.
Those files were sometimes corrupted.
- Fix of NMBD unexpected exit when Samba configured with WINS support.
