I would start by running the tests in diagnostics.txt.
If you did not find it in your distribution, you can go to
http://www.samba.org [select your closest mirror] and then go to the
documentation link.
There should be a link to a HTML version of it.
You can use the SMBCLIENT program to test access from the username the
PC user is assigned.
