One of the main SAMBA developers has posted on the SAMBA-TECHNICAL and 
SAMBA lists that they no longer will read any e-mail other than plain 
text.  Any MIME now goes straight into their spam filter and is deleted 
unread.


Also when replying to other posts, please delete as much of the previous 
post as possible and still maintain context.

All e-mails sent to all SAMBA mailing list are archived and can be 
located either throught the web interface at http://www.samba.org or by 
using http://www.google.com.

So there is no reason to keep the previous message in a reply.  It makes 
it very hard to read the digests, and wastes space on the various 
servers that archive these e-mail messages.
