I really do not know what the capabilities are with 2.0.3. I know that
the SMBD program does not support encrypted passwords. I do not know
about domain pass through or DOMAIN security.

Samba 2.0.6 for OpenVMS is meant to be feature and bug compatable with
the UNIX 2.0.6 version, but not all code paths were excersized in it's
testing.

The last time I tried, I could get SAMBA 2.2.x to build, but it will not
run for some known and unknown reasons. Known reasons include an
increased reliance on the fork()ing child processes.

I am not sure about this one, but check that your guest account is
working on your SMBD server.

This is covered in the SAMBA-VMS FAQ.

I do not know if this works in any version of SAMBA for OpenVMS.

I did not have a working domain controller to test against.
