Samba error on VMS

Good feeling... ;-)) but UCX worked, ping to the node was ok..., name
resolution to itself was ok...

FYI

The problem was that someone hat played around with ucx$config
 
The following is my assumption for any other would mean, that he did
this intenionally:
not knowing what he did. During this, he must have been at core/domain
entry (point 1 and then point 2 in the menus) and in "some panic"
about something he didnt understand, he tried to leave this window
hitting <ESC> as usual in the MS world .... resulting in a ^ which now
was the domainpart of the full qualified host name (which was normally
empty at this node)......... This results in the error message with
.....  Unknown host my_host.^ .....

Removing this and anything worked ok.

Finding this took me 2h.
