Openchange and last Samba releases ?

I thought that openchange was a dead project, I seem to remember that

Yes, but they do not seem to have received any updates for years.

I am not saying 'do not try to build it with the latest Samba', but that
it will undoubtedly require a lot of work, including rewriting large
parts of openchange.
