Linking external library with samba

Hi,

Good Morning.
I need a help in compiling samba code with an external library options. I
have a library created independent of samba to check a pattern of write
request data and i am interested to utilize the same library and not
rewrite the same code in samba. Hence looking for an option to either link
this library statically or dynamically. Could anyone please let me know how
could this be achieved. This experiment is for my own study not for any
production environment.
