I'm not sure... let me try it all! :-)
I'm happy to see that I'm wrong and that bundled Heimdal now builds with
O3 and --picky-developer! Yay!
--with-system-heimdalkrb5 still fails to build.
Anyway, I'm happier. Thanks for letting me know bundled Heimdal works
now!
