Sorry, but I do not understand this:

Setting <smbconfoption name="restrict anonymous">2</smbconfoption>
will in addition to restrict SAMR access disallow anonymous connections
to the IPC$ share in general.

Do you mean:

Setting <smbconfoption name="restrict anonymous">2</smbconfoption>
will also disallow anonymous SAMR access connections to the IPC$
share in general.

You also have 'will' twice:

will will remove the security advantage.
