Please note that I did not say to revert things. The new code has
proven to be broken, and until we have something better, we need to
restore the working behaviour. I said I will work on a fresh patchset
that will make this work the same way as it did before I broke things.
This is *NOT* a revert, this is just kindness to fellow developers. I
am doing Samba nicely to the other developers.
