ldb linking issue, waf related?

Thanks for giving it a go, I was indeed wondering if it was only me.
The OS is a Fedora 27 that hasn't been updated for a while (I
currently have very little bandwidth).

# uname -a
Linux f 4.15.3-300.fc27.x86_64 #1 SMP Tue Feb 13 17:02:01 UTC 2018
x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
# cat /etc/redhat-release
Fedora release 27 (Twenty Seven)

Attached build log if it helps, I'll try to give it another look,
unless of course someone figures it out first :)
