It will become a very interesting option with a Rust->C translator. It
does not have to be readable C, I would consider optimized assembler
or object code pretty much unreadable, and the C readability to me
does not really matter. If we had that, we could rewrite parts of
Samba in Rust and ship the C output for the platforms that don't have
Rust.
